River Creek Men's Club Blurbs

Note: The Mountain Challenge between River Creek and Sierra Meadows was held on the 12th and 13th of March. The Sierra Meadows Men’s Club won the tourney. The highlight of the tourney had to be Jim Nell’s two hole-in-ones. Jim, a River Creek Men’s Club member, holed out on number 8 and when he came to number 8 (17) the second time, he said, “I’ll be buying drinks for the first one, so I might as well get another one.” Then, Nell commenced to ace the hole for the second time. We are not sure this has ever happened in the annals of golf. Quite a feat to be sure!

Low net front was won by Gene Wolfe with a 34.
Low net back was tied by Bob Nolan and Terry Lancaster with 31's.
Total net was a tie by Bill Ross, Bob Nolan, and Terry Lancaster with 68's.
Closest to the pin was won by Bill Ross on #3 and Jim Fairband on #8.
